Certificates of Analysis

Every lot, documented and published.

Each lot we accept is tested by an independent, accredited U.S. laboratory. The resulting certificate is filed against that lot number and published here β€” recording exactly what is in the vial, who tested it, and when.

The library is open to everyone, freely and at any time. Read a report before you order.

The Panel

What we test on every lot.

Five tests, run by an accredited third-party laboratory. The full panel appears on every certificate.

How to Read One

What to look for on any COA.

Worth knowing whoever you buy from β€” these are the marks of a certificate that means something.

  • A named, accredited laboratory

The lab should be named and independently verifiable. Third-party testing removes the conflict of interest that comes with a supplier testing its own material.

  • A lot number that matches the vial

The number on the certificate should be the number printed on the vial in your hand. That link is what makes the document specific to your material.

  • Both HPLC and mass spectrometry

HPLC gives purity; mass spectrometry confirms identity. Together they establish that the compound is what it says, at the purity stated.

  • The chromatogram, not just the number

A purity figure is a summary. The chromatogram is the underlying data, and it should be included.

  • A dated analyst signature

A signed, dated report ties the result to a person and a moment in time.

Read the report. Then order.

Every compound in the catalog carries its certificate, published and open. That is the order we think it should happen in.
